Your visit stays yours.

This site asks for no account and sells no visitor data. Optional content analytics remain off unless you expressly allow them.

Site identity and scope

This website presents XenoLife Labs & Research Center, a fictional in-universe research institution in Stars Reach. It is an informational fan project. It does not provide medical care, professional medical advice, or real pharmaceutical services.

The site does not ask visitors to create an account, submit a profile, or send personal information through a form.

Information used to deliver the site

A public web server necessarily receives connection information, including an IP address, long enough to return a requested page. Limited security or system records may be created when needed to keep the service working or investigate abuse.

The site is hosted on a GoDaddy virtual private server in the United States. Routine XenoLife access logging is disabled. The site operator may retain short-lived, aggregate security and service-health records for up to 14 days; those summaries do not contain visitor profiles, cookies, or lists of IP addresses. GoDaddy may process infrastructure records under its own terms and legal obligations.

Search terms and selected specimens can appear in the address bar. Query strings are part of the requested URL and may reach hosting infrastructure or limited technical logs. Do not put private information in searches or shared links.

Local preferences

The optional-analytics choice is saved in your browser's local storage so the site can honor it without asking on every page. It contains only the policy version and whether analytics is allowed. Clear this site's stored data to remove that choice.

Cookies and analytics

XenoLife uses no advertising cookies, browser fingerprinting, cross-site tracking, or third-party analytics.

Optional first-party content analytics begin only after you choose Allow content analytics. The system can count views, daily unique opted-in browsers, and approximate active foreground time for a fixed list of public pages. It never receives laboratory search terms, specimen query parameters, URL fragments, referrers, IP-derived identifiers, user-agent-derived identifiers, or fingerprints.

Active time is counted in rounded five-second amounts only while the page is visible, focused, and recently active. The site does not retain clicks, keys, pointer coordinates, scroll position, activity types, timestamps, or an ordered navigation history.

After consent, the analytics service may place one random first-party cookie that is available only to the analytics endpoints. It expires at the next UTC midnight and is replaced with an unrelated value on a later day. Temporary daily pseudonyms are removed within 36 hours after the day ends. Aggregate page-view, daily-unique, and active-time totals may be retained for up to 400 days.

Your current policy-version choice is saved in local storage. Declining does not limit any feature. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals keep optional analytics disabled.

External services

The site does not load third-party analytics or embedded third-party media. It does include ordinary links to GUNC.org. XenoLife does not contact GUNC.org merely because this page loads; if you choose a link, that site's privacy terms apply to the visit. Any future external embed or service will be disclosed here before it is enabled.

Your choices and rights

You can decline optional analytics without losing any site feature. If you previously accepted, open Privacy choices and continue without analytics. New measurements stop immediately, and the analytics service is asked to remove that browser's temporary current-day rows.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to ask about personal data, request deletion or correction, object to certain processing, withdraw consent, and complain to a local data-protection authority. Aggregate historical counts cannot normally be connected to an individual visitor.

Operator and privacy contact

XenoLife is operated under the public name Vellaut as a non-commercial Stars Reach fan project. To make a privacy request without publishing an email address, use the GUNC community Discord route linked from GUNC.org and ask for Vellaut regarding XenoLife privacy. Do not include sensitive information in a public channel; request a private moderator conversation.

This policy will be revised whenever accounts, forms, analytics, external services, hosting practices, or retention periods change.
